Located in a corner in the central "Piazza delle Erbe" square, the Ristorante Tre Re is the oldest restaurant in the town; it has been serving food to travellers, tourists, politicians, lawyers and a great number of friends for about 4 centuries. It is famous because of its traditional cooking: simple dishes, but with a great attention to the details, as the exclusive use of D.O.P. Extra Virgin Olive Oil exclusively from our region.
Our Soups: we have something for every season, from the 'Acquacotta', typical of Viterbo, the chickpea and chestnut soup, the Porcini mushrooms soup or the artichokes one, the legumes soup or the chicory one, etc. etc...
The Starters: they consist almost entirely in home-made pasta, like Lombrichelli 'alla Viterbese', the Fettuccine with Porcini mushrooms, the Gorgonzola Candies and many other types of Ravioli.
Our Classical Main Courses: chicken 'alla viterbese' (with a delicious stuffing), Porchetta piglet with roasted potatoes, 'Trippa', 'Coratella', 'Crostone' with Porcini mushrooms and many others, including many variations on Beef 'Tagliata'.
Ask for the Desserts: they are sublime!!!
